Missions Trip to Africa
Help Support the Mission in Zimbabwe and South Africa
Greetings!
I want to share an opportunity that my friend John and I have coming up in October. We’ve been invited to join a missions effort with a team of leaders who will be traveling to the nations of South Africa and Zimbabwe to train and support 50-60 local pastors. While there we will be providing theological training, and new study bibles and materials. Additionally, in order to show these local leaders that we are rooting for them, we will be paying for their room and board to attend these training events.
While in Zimbabwe, we are also supporting Pastor Juliana Muskwe who is the Foursquare National leader of Zimbabwe. Over the last several years she has rescued hundreds of women from human trafficking and sexual slavery. This dynamic woman and her ministry helps women break free and get equipped and trained into a trade or business opportunity to help them support themselves and their children. We will be infusing resources and funds into this crucial effort that saves lives.
In South Africa we will meet with the national leaders Xavier and Heather Adriaaanse to explore ways to resource and support mission in the 13 countries within the Southern Africa region of our Foursquare Church denomination.
The goal of this jam-packed trip is to bring hope through both relational and financial support to the ministry that Jesus is already doing in this region. John and I, and our Church On The Rock family are asking if you would join us in support of this effort? We are asking our friends and family to consider supporting financially, as well as through your prayer support. We are so grateful for you and can’t wait to share how God moves throughout this trip in October!
